Suffering from the 2nd and 3rd child syndrome?

We all love our children equally. They are all special and unique in their own way. But for some reason, generally speaking – there seem to be more photos and videos of the first-born than of the other children in the family.

Celebrating Individuality

In the past, many parents felt that it was important for their kids to be like all the others and fit in. They couldn’t help but compare them to other kids in their class, playgroup, or age group as whole. Of course, this came from a place of love – we just want things to be easy for them.

Photo Streams: The Giant Digital Tupperware

Some of us (thankfully) like to share photos with a little more discretion, especially when it comes to pics of our kids. Perhaps Facebook is not the most appropriate place to post Dylan’s first time on the potty. Well, unless you want to add to his arsenal of “What Mommy Did Wrong” for future therapy sessions. But at the same time, how can you not show your closest friends and family?! He’s so cute with his chubby legs dangling and that proud grin on his face. (more…)
